What to do in ALICANTE?

To complement our courses and to help our students, the school offers a wide activities program.

Alicante, with a population of 250.000 offers an interesting range of cultural activities and sport installations: libraries, art-galleries, cultural halls, museums, open-air concerts and a 19th century theatre with an extensive program...

Depending on the season in which you happen to be staying with us, you will fall in love with Alicante and its FIESTAS all year round:


January: The Three Wise Men.
February: Carnival. 
March / April: Easter. Processions 
May: Flower Festival.

June: “Moors and Christians” and The Bonfires of San Juan. 
July / August: Summer Festival and “Moors and Christians.
September/ October the Open Air-Theatre Festival and the International Contemporary Music Festival.
November, the Contemporary Spanish Theatre Festival.
 December, an International Festival of Puppet Show. 

All such activities and festivals are accessible to our pupils who will be informed of the events which take place in Alicante.

- The Route of the Palm Trees:
Elche (Basilica of Santa María, Priest´s orchard, the old Muslim baths and museum of the Mystery) and Orihuela(the Cathedral of El Salvador, the old University of Santo Domingo and the churches of Santiago and Santa Justina).











Novelda
- The Route of the Castles:
Novelda(The sanctuary of La Magdalena, and the castle of La Mola), Sax (The castle) and Villena (The castle of La Atalaya, the Torre del Homenaje, Barrio del Raval and churches of Santa María and Santiago).













-The Inland Routes:

Added to all of this other schools work with us. Our pupils can attend classes to learn flamenco, SALSA,
painting, photography , pottery and other similar activities. Our centre also offers linguistic exchanges with Spaniards. The use of WI-FI, FAX, LIBRARY AND INTERNET...

One of the activities is of course also to discover the exciting nightlife of Alicante.
